    Hardware Sales Manager - Tweed Heads South

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Surf Hardware Sales Assistant to join the Sideways Crew to lead and develop a team of 14 at our Tweed Heads store

    The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Owners and Managers with the sales, growth and success of our large store.

    This is a full time position and will require availability over weekends (one day of the weekend) and public holidays, but as we are just as passionate as you when it comes to lifestyle; we provide excellent flexible roster opportunities.

    DUTIES

    • Focus on creating & maintaining an organised, positive team environment
    • Offer exceptional customer service and a warm and friendly shopping experience
    • Be responsible for the upkeep of the stores surf hardware department
    • Motivate your team to achieve optimal results & strive to reach targets
    • Assist with stock control and uphold superior visual merchandising standards
    • Act responsibly in compliance with the store’s procedures
    • While set rosters are in place, be available to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings, holidays

    SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

    • Experience in retail customer service & in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience & understanding of surf hardware products is essential
    • Understanding of surf board design & construction preferred
    • Self motivated & focus on excellent customer service as well as communication skills
    • Ability to provide a genuine and unique customer experience
